Job summary

The Vydar Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an on-site role in Delft. You will design, analyze, and test electrical systems supporting autonomous platforms and defense technologies, developing schematics and selecting components.

Day-to-day work includes simulations, collaboration with software/AI and mechanical teams, prototype development, troubleshooting, and documenting results to ensure safe, reliable systems. NATO citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer is required.
• On-site work in Delft is required.
• NATO citizenship required.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail for safe, reliable design.

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Electrical Engineer role at The Vydar Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Delft. This role involves designing, analyzing, and testing electrical systems and components that support autonomous vehicle platforms and integrated defense technologies. Day-to-day tasks include developing schematics, selecting components, performing simulations and calculations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams such as software, AI, and mechanical engineering. The Electrical Engineer will also participate in prototype development, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement of power and control systems to meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering
• Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design with proven proficiency in Altium Designer
• Candidates should possess skills related high-speed communications i.e PCIE, MIPI, DDR3/4/5 etc
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency with altium designer is a must
• Ability to work on-site in Delft, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate technical information clearly.
• Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safe and reliable system design.
