Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an E&I Supervisor in petrochemical/oil & gas
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation installations, modifications and maintenance
• Experience supervising contractors in an industrial plant environment
• Good understanding of HSE requirements, work permits and toolbox talks
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and ensure safe execution of site activities

Project type: Industrial projects, modifications and maintenance activities

For various ongoing projects at a Refinery site in Rotterdam, we are looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor. The activities involve a wide range of work, including plant modifications, upgrades, maintenance and other ongoing site projects.

As E&I Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising contractors and ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, site procedures and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate contractors carrying out E&I activities on site
• Monitor work progress, quality and compliance with safety regulations
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and permit-to-work requirements
• Review and coordinate work permits and conduct toolbox talks
• Carry out site inspections and ensure safe working practices are followed
• Coordinate daily activities with other disciplines, project teams and site personnel
• Identify potential risks, resolve site-related issues and ensure proper execution of the work

Requirements

• Proven experience as an E&I Supervisor within the petrochemical, chemical or oil & gas industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation installations, modifications and maintenance activities
• Experience supervising contractors in an industrial plant environment
• Good understanding of HSE requirements, work permits and toolbox talks
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the safe execution of site activities
• Fluency in English; Dutch is an advantage
