Job summary

Clear in Amsterdam is seeking an EHS Advisor to lead health and safety efforts on high‑scale data centre projects. You will own site safety audits, incident investigations, PTW systems, and regulatory reporting, driving zero‑harm outcomes.

The role requires a NEBOSH certification, 4+ years in construction safety, and readiness for on‑site rotation in the Netherlands. A competitive rotation package with accommodation and flights is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years in EHS advisory roles on major construction or data centre projects.
• NEBOSH Diploma or NEBOSH International General Certificate or local equivalent.
• EU construction safety regulations knowledge and incident investigation methods.

Responsibilities

• Enforce EHS policies, safety mgmt systems, and regulatory standards across data centre sites.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections, hazard identification walks, and risk assessments.
• Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training for onsite personnel and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety breaches; write root-cause analysis reports.
• Monitor permit-to-work issuance, heavy lifting, confined spaces, and working at height safety.
• Collaborate with construction managers, contractors, client safety reps, and regulators.
• Maintain safety documentation, audit logs, and regulatory compliance records.
