Job summary

SURF is seeking an editor-in-chief for the Online, Content & Events team in Utrecht. You will edit and write interviews, news articles, reports, and blogs for surf.nl, newsletters, and brochures, while advising on corporate communications and expanding SURF's language guidelines.

You will collaborate with communications colleagues, ensure readability and tone, and manage content planning with a Kanban board (Jira).

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience writing and editing online and offline content.
• Experience with CMS platforms (Drupal preferred).
• Strong command of English and ability to adapt tone to the SURF style guide.

Responsibilities

• Edit and write a wide variety of texts for channels including surf.nl, social media, newsletters, and brochures.
• Advise on corporate communications and SURF Style Guide, and run writing workshops.
• Guide colleagues on content quality, readability, tone, and accessibility.
