OverviewThe Ass. E-Commerce Commercial Manager is commercially responsible for BISSELL e-commerce direct-to-consumer business in Europe. This person will drive business performance and commercial activities on .com (European sites) both directly managed or operated by 3rd parties.
You will fuel the transformation journey from a scale-up to mature business, and will be accountable for the success story of BISSELL’s direct-to-consumer business in Europe through the best-in-class commercial strategy, planning and execution. You will be focused on our direct .com (e.g. DE, NL, IT) but also support our .com that are managed by distribution partners (e.g. FR, UK, ES, PL). You will be the single point of contact to ensure consistency across geographies.
You will drive the strategic and tactical commercialization activities for our products across Europe. This role is responsible for pricing strategies, campaign strategy, promotional planning, demand forecasting, operational oversight, direct partnership marketing and ensuring alignment across all channels. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products and campaigns are successfully launched and promoted in a way that maximizes profitability and market share.
Responsibilities- Deliver commercial targets for BISSELL’s e-commerce websites. Manage and adjust forecasts and inventory.
- Drive performance and optimization. Make the e-commerce channel sustainable and grow profitability within marketing budget. Continuously monitor sales performance, own and optimize KPIs like conversion rate, average order value, traffic and ROAS.
- Own the EU DTC Commercial Calendar. Design part of the BISSELL e-commerce value proposition, such as product portfolio, promotional and pricing strategies. Plan, develop, and execute promotional activities to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Deliver end-to-end campaign excellence. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align on new product launches and promotional efforts. Manage the end-to-end operational aspects of product launches & promotions, ensuring that timelines are met, all relevant teams are aligned and ensure a consistent overall commercialization strategies, across EU markets.
- Provide distributors with strategic advice to ensure a best-in-class online shopping journey and business performance on our European BISSELL e-commerce sites.
- Serve as a key point of contact between the DTC team, product development, marketing, and sales teams. Facilitate communication and ensure alignment across departments to drive commercialization success.
- Collaborate closely with CRM on acquisition, retention and win back strategies, to create long term value (e.g., cross-selling, upselling) and seize short term business opportunities while creating best-in-class shopper experiences (e.g., abandoned basket reminder, back in stock notification).
- Collaborate closely with the Performance Media team to build strategies to ensure quantity and quality of traffic.
- Develop additional revenue streams, such as affiliate marketing and direct partnership marketing.
- Observe retail online pricing and competitor activities, adjust e-commerce prices based on our strategy, work on price-automation.
- Be commercially savvy, always on the look out for new experiments, continuous test & learn new commercial ideas.
