Job summary

ibis Amsterdam City West is seeking a Breakfast Employee to warmly welcome guests and ensure a great breakfast experience. You will be the first contact in the morning, delivering friendly service and maintaining a clean, well-presented dining area.

The role requires availability for early shifts at 05:30 or 06:00 AM, a proactive guest-focused attitude, and the ability to work across front-of-house and back-of-house tasks within the Accor family.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
• Positive, proactive, and guest-focused attitude.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willing to work early mornings at 5:30!
• Ability to handle both guest-facing and back-of-house tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the breakfast area before service
• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Serve food and beverages according to company standards
• Keep the buffet clean, stocked, and well-presented
• Clear and clean tables to maintain a tidy dining area
• Perform stewarding tasks such as washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in the back of house
• Receive, check, and store deliveries and orders following organisational procedures
• Collaborate with the service and kitchen teams
• Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling guidelines
