Amgen Netherlands Breda is launching the Emerging Talent Rotational Program (ETRP) – Site Operations (Quality Focus). This 24-month program includes three 8-month rotations across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Engineering, starting September 1, 2026.

You will gain broad ops understanding, sharpen leadership and technical skills, and build a global network, with hands-on GMP experience and potential progression toward a Qualified Person career path.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree by September in Sciences, HealthCare, Pharmaceuticals or related field.
• Demonstrated interest in Quality Assurance and GMP environments.
• Willingness to grow towards Qualified Person (QP) pathway.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in student orgs, internships, volunteering, or team-based projects.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and data skills.

Responsibilities

• Three 8-month rotations across Site Operations (Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Engineering) within 24 months.
• Gain broad understanding of operations and develop leadership and technical skills.
• Work in GMP environments with exposure to documentation, deviations, CAPA and quality systems.
• Receive personalized mentorship, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration across Amgen.
• Potential development towards a Qualified Person (QP) career pathway.

What you will do

Our “Fuel Your Potential” Emerging Talent Rotational Program (ETRP) is designed for ambitious early-career professionals who want to grow as leaders and innovators in global biotechnology. As part of this 24-month program, you’ll complete three dynamic 8-month rotations within our Site Operations organization, which includes Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and / or Engineering. The start‑date of the program is September 1, 2026.

Along the way, you’ll gain a broad understanding of our operations, sharpen your leadership and technical skills, and build a powerful network across the company—while developing a strong foundation in Quality Assurance and GMP‑regulated environments.

We expect of you

• Master’s degree (by September) in Sciences, HealthCare, Pharmaceuticals, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Demonstrated interest in Quality Assurance, GMP environments, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Motivation and potential to grow towards roles with increasing responsibility in Quality, including a potential future Qualified Person (QP) pathway.
• Demonstrated leadership experience—whether through student organizations, internships, volunteering, or team‑based projects.
• Genuine interest in Site Operations (Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering).
• Comfortable with shift work during the Manufacturing rotation to gain vital on‑the‑ground experience.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving and data skills.
• Collaborative spirit and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality‑first mindset.
