Job summary

Motus People Group is seeking an Electrical or E&I Technician to contribute to critical energy and infrastructure projects in the Netherlands. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and ensure safe, reliable operation of electrical and instrumentation systems across industrial facilities.

You’ll collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve uptime and safety on site. The ideal candidate holds an MBO EQF level 3/4 in Electrical Engineering or E&I, has 2+ years

The Role

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, resolve breakdowns, and ensure safe and efficient operation of installations. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and fellow technicians and have a direct influence on site reliability and safety. This is You

You bring a strong technical foundation, a proactive mindset, and a solid background in industrial environments. You are solution-oriented, safety-conscious, and excited to work in a role that combines both electrical and instrumentation work.

You have:

• A completed MBO (EQF level 3 or 4) in Electrical Engineering, E&I, or a comparable discipline
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience as an Electrical or E&I Technician in industrial, energy, utilities, or related sectors
• Knowledge of low-voltage and/or medium-voltage systems
• Experience working with instrumentation, control systems, and PLCs
• A valid VCA certificate (or willing to obtain one)
• Good command of English

Furthermore, you bring:

• A hands‑on, practical approach to troubleshooting and maintenance
• Strong safety awareness and responsibility in industrial settings
