Job summary

ESSD Consulting is seeking an E-Commerce & Marketing Intern in Amsterdam to support marketplace operations and digital marketing. You’ll work on e-mail marketing, CRM, newsletters, and online brand communication for diverse European brands, including Venta del Barón olive oil, within a fast-paced, international team.

• You have strong Microsoft Excel skills and enjoy working with data.
• You are creative, detail-oriented, and able to write clear marketing content.
• You are independent, proactive, and entrepreneurial.
• You are fluent in English; another European language such as Dutch, German, French, Spanish, or Italian is a plus.
• You enjoy working in a dynamic, international, and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting marketplace and webshop operations across platforms such as Amazon, bol.com, Shopify, and other European channels
• Helping optimize product listings, content, pricing, and online brand presentation
• Analyzing sales data, customer behavior, campaign performance, and competitor activity
• Supporting digital marketing activities such as social media, influencer campaigns, newsletters, and branded content

We are looking for a motivated E-Commerce & Marketing Intern to join our international team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will support both marketplace operations and digital marketing activities, with a special focus on e-mail marketing, CRM, newsletters, and online brand communication.

What You'll Do

As an E-Commerce & Marketing Intern, you will support our team with a variety of e-commerce and marketing activities, including:

• Supporting marketplace and webshop operations across platforms such as Amazon, bol.com, Shopify, and other European channels
• Helping optimize product listings, content, pricing, and online brand presentation
• Analyzing sales data, customer behavior, campaign performance, and competitor activity
• Supporting digital marketing activities such as social media, influencer campaigns, newsletters, and branded content

Venta del Barón Webshop & Marketing Support

A key part of the internship will be supporting the growth of Venta del Barón, our premium Spanish olive oil brand. Your tasks may include:

• Supporting webshop marketing activities and online brand visibility
• Assisting with Meta, affiliate, and influencer marketing campaigns
• Helping manage e-mail campaigns, newsletters, and customer segments
• Supporting community-building activities such as gifts, events, loyalty points, and customer engagement
• Helping plan blog posts and content around olive oil, recipes, gifting, and Mediterranean lifestyle
