vanRaam is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer – E-bike Development to shape the electrical systems behind our in-house e-bike platform. You will translate requirements into robust subsystems across the full product lifecycle, from concept through validation and mass production.

You’ll work with suppliers and partners, develop verification plans, and contribute to EMC and regulatory compliance while documenting designs and specifications for a high-quality, manufacturable product.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience developing electromechanical products or systems.
• Strong interest in e-mobility, cycling technology or medical devices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Structured approach with emphasis on quality and documentation.
• Practical mindset with hands-on prototype building/testing.
• Good written and spoken English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Define electrical system requirements and translate into detailed specs.
• Specify interfaces, CAN and BLE protocols, and overall system behavior.
• Coordinate development with external suppliers and engineering partners.
• Review supplier designs for functionality, performance and quality.
• Develop verification/validation plans and carry out lab and vehicle testing.
• Analyze test data, identify root causes, drive improvements.
• Support EMC, electrical safety and regulatory compliance activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and design records.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, electronics and manufacturing engineers.
• Support industrialization and production by resolving technical issues.
