Job summary

Obsolete Site in the Netherlands is seeking staff to provide developmental care for children and youth aged 6 weeks through 18 years within CYS programs. You will supervise activities, implement age-appropriate plans, and assist with meals and safety protocols during daily routines.

You will be expected to meet entry requirements, maintain English communication, and complete required DoW/service training, immunizations, and pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provides appropriate developmental care and instruction for children and youth, ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years in Child and Youth Services (CYS) programs.
• Actively supervises and accounts for whereabouts and safety of children and youth during daily routines, indoor and outdoor activities, on field trips, outings, and special events.
• Assists in implementing planned, developmentally appropriate activities, schedules, and routines for children/youth using prepared curriculum, activity plans, and materials which includes group and individual activities.
• Helps arrange for or serve appropriate snacks or meals.
• Identifies and responds to emergency situations including evacuations, child/youth illness, and physical and emotional needs.
