Job summary

Summa Zorg en Welzijn seeks a Dutch teacher to educate students in Nursing and Healthcare Assistant programs. You will teach Dutch through practical, healthcare-related contexts, helping learners develop speaking, writing, reading, and professional communication skills.

You will guide diverse learners, tailor methods to different levels, and collaborate with colleagues to align language teaching with vocational education.

Qualifications

• Second-degree teaching qualification in Dutch or in final phase.
• Ability to convey Dutch in a practical and engaging way.
• Experience with vocational education and healthcare education is a plus.

Your impact as a Dutch teacher

• You help students communicate with greater language proficiency and confidence in their future profession.

This is what you will do as a Dutch teacher

• You teach Dutch to students in the Nursing and Healthcare Assistant (IG) programs.
• You connect language proficiency as much as possible to recognizable situations from the study program and professional practice.
• You help students develop in areas including speaking, writing, reading, and professional communication.
• You guide and motivate students, tailoring your approach to differences in level, background, and learning needs.
• You develop and update teaching materials and contribute ideas regarding contemporary and practice-oriented language education.
• You work together with fellow teachers to ensure that Dutch aligns well with vocational education.

• Year-end bonus of 8,33%, ABP pension fund, a laptop and phone on loan.
