The International School Eindhoven invites an experienced NT2 teacher to foster an inclusive, engaging Dutch language program for 11–18-year-olds. You will guide students in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while supporting cultural understanding and independent learning.

The job

As a Teacher Dutch as a Second Language (NT2), you will create an inspiring, inclusive, and engaging teaching and learning environment where students feel supported to grow, flourish, and experience success. You will deliver meaningful and engaging lessons that help students develop their Dutch language skills across listening, speaking, reading, and writing. By encouraging communication, confidence, and cultural understanding, you will support students in becoming more independent and confident users of the Dutch language. Working collaboratively with colleagues and teams, you will contribute to a supportive learning environment and help each student develop their competencies and reach their full potential.

Functie-eisen

• Experience of teaching Dutch Language Acquisition (Dutch as second language or NT2) to students (11 to 18 years);
• You have a relevant degree, are eligible to work in the EU and you have a DUO recognized teaching qualification;
• An understanding and knowledge of different cultural backgrounds;
• A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team;
• Ability to use differentiation effectively in class to support a wide range of student abilities.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• A temporary replacement appointment until mid December 2026;
• Salary grading takes place in scale LB (min. € 3.622,- max € 5.520,-) regarding collective agreement for secondary education (CAO VO);
