Job Description

Introduction

Are you an early bird who enjoys having your afternoons free?

Then this is the perfect job for you! We’re looking for a motivated driver with a category BE license who is eager to grow into a category C license and later into a category CE license.

Don’t worry—we’ll arrange and cover the full cost of your training.

You’ll start with deliveries in a van, then move on to a rigid truck once you obtain your C license, and finally progress to a tractor-trailer with your CE license.

Your role

As a driver, you’ll be responsible for the timely and careful delivery of fresh bread to supermarkets and shops within a 150 km radius of Den Bosch.

Working hours run between 00:30 and 10:00 AM, mainly on fixed routes to supermarkets across the Netherlands.

Each shift includes 6 to 10 stops, with loads consisting of dollies stacked with bread crates—physically light work, with hardly any heavy lifting involved.

What your day looks like

  • Your shift begins between 00:00 and 01:00 AM with loading the vehicle (about 45 minutes).
  • You then start your route, stress-free, as you know the way.
  • At each store, you unload the goods yourself—you have the key, the alarm code, and know exactly where to go.
  • After unloading, you collect the return packaging from the previous day before heading to the next stop.
  • At the end of your route, you unload the empty crates, and your workday is usually done by 10:00 AM.
  • Plus, you’ll receive a 34% night allowance for all hours worked between 00:00 and 06:00 AM.

Working hours and flexibility

This bakery runs 7 days a week, giving you plenty of options.

You can work full-time or part-time, and we’ll gladly tailor your schedule to your needs.

Prefer working weekends? Or would you rather avoid them?

There’s flexibility for both.

About the company

You’ll be working for a well-known national bakery chain with 11 branches across the Netherlands.

Specializing in bread and baked goods, they supply over 1,000 supermarkets daily with fresh products.

All transport is managed in-house, with a fleet of 80 trucks and 15 vans—10 of which are already fully electric.

The company invests heavily in sustainability and, just as importantly, in its people.
