Job summary

Bumper to Bumper Canada in Duncan, BC is seeking a Driver to join our automotive aftermarket team. The role focuses on preparing and delivering orders, verifying invoices, and providing good customer service while maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure orders are exact.
• Inspect merchandise condition at delivery and obtain customer sign-off.
• Organize daily pick-up of cores, returns and warranties without delaying deliveries.
• Accurately record deliveries and pickups with proper paperwork.
• Comply with electronic delivery standards and procedures.
• Report customer complaints to Dispatcher/Store Manager promptly.
• Check vehicle fluid levels and tire condition; keep vehicle clean inside/out.
• Follow all road rules and maintain safety at all times.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher/Store Manager on progress and delays.
• Assist with customer service activities and maintain store neatness.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure that order is exact, possibly assist with picking parts for orders
• Examine the condition of the merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer, and have customer sign-off on delivery
• Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency
• Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensure proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies
• Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards
• Ensure any complaints or dissatisfaction of a customer is immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager
• Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, the tire condition and ensures cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle
• Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times
• Check in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on Delivery progress/delays
• Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory
• Be prepared to assist with customer service activities within store location, assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves
