Job summary

UWC Maastricht invites applications for a Fundraising Officer to support scholarships and mission-driven initiatives within an international school community. You will join The Advancement Team and help build durable connections with donors, alumni and partners through campaigns, grants and events.

The role is a 0.9 FTE contract (36 hours/week) under Dutch CAO VO, with salary based on experience. Remote work is possible one day per week; fluency in English is essential and Dutch is a strong

Qualifications

• A completed relevant bachelor's or master's degree.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Dutch language skills are considered a strong advantage.
• At least three years of experience with fundraising, account management, education, social impact, international relations, marketing, communications or sales.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research and approach new prospects, including individuals, foundations, companies, alumni and other potential partners.
• Recognise opportunities for collaboration, partnership and support, and follow up on these opportunities in a professional way
• Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with donors, parents, alumni, companies, foundations and external stakeholders.
• Support the preparation and submission of grant proposals for scholarships and school projects.
• Support fundraising campaigns, donor engagement activities and online and offline marketing/communication.
• Ensure accurate processing, recording and stewardship of donations, pledges and agreements.
