Job summary

Oxfam Novib seeks a Compliance and Quality Officer to ensure policies and procedures are implemented per the Project Cycle. The role supports users with training and oversight across governance, risk and donor compliance.

This is a one-year contract with a 50% office/50% home hybrid setup, 36 hours per week. The salary scale 8 runs between €3325 and €4934 gross monthly. Dutch work permit required and a commitment to diversity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or HBO / Master’s degree in business administration, international relations, humanitarian or related field.
• 2+ years in donor compliance activities.
• Excellent communication and English proficiency.
• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management.
• Proactive, problem solving and results-oriented mindset with process thinking.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural team and adapt to flexible tasks.
• You have a valid permit to reside and work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Review internal control processes related to the Project Cycle (YOSAS, OPAs).
• Review Grant Forms and Grant Management System related topics.
• Contributes to the Approval and Transfers audit activities as part of the annual account process.
• Provide support or training to the users on related processes and procedures.
• Identifies and implement continuous improvements on policies, procedures and processes as well as ways of working in the related field of expertise.
• Led small scale internal projects for continuous improvements within the team.
• Can be requested to contribute to internal projects when requested.
