Huisartsenpraktijk Aemstelwijck zoekt een doktersassistent voor een afwisselende baan. Je behandelt telefoongesprekken, plant afspraken en verwelkomt patiënten bij de balie, terwijl collega’s administratieve taken oppakken.

Samen zorg je voor een soepele praktijkvoering en duidelijke communicatie met patiënten en huisartsen. In de middag houd je spreekuur en voer je medische handelingen uit zoals injecties, oor uitspuiten en het verzorgen van wonden.

Formación

• Minimaal mbo-diploma in doktersassistente of verpleegkundige.

Are you looking for a varied job and do you enjoy taking care of everything? As a doctor's assistant, no day is ever the same! You have just helped a patient with ear complaints over the phone, and immediately afterwards you arrange an appointment for a patient at the counter. While you are still busy, suddenly the emergency line rings. The GP has also appeared at your door, with a question. Bored? That doesn't happen at Aemstelwijck GP practice.

As a doctor's assistant, you have a central role in supporting the GPs and keeping the daily practice running smoothly. You start the day by answering the phone, deciding whether someone needs an appointment or whether giving advice is enough. While the GP holds consultation hours, you and your fellow assistants divide the tasks. Today, you are responsible for receiving patients at the front desk and answering their questions. Your colleagues take up administrative tasks, such as processing referrals, repeat prescriptions and questions received via e-consult. They also call patients back with the results of tests and answer GPs' questions.

’In the afternoon, you hold your own surgery hours in which you perform medical procedures such as giving injections, blowing out ears and bandaging wounds. At the end of the day, you go home feeling good, because together with your colleagues you gave patients the care and attention they needed.

Your new workplace

Huisartsenpraktijk Aemstelwijck consists of four GP practices. You will work closely together with the regular GPs, junior GPs, somatic, mental health (including youth) and geriatric physicians and doctors' assistants. The team of doctors' assistants is experienced, so you have a lot of support around you. Are you at a loss for words? Then you can always turn to your colleagues with your questions! During a lunch walk or team-building activities, you can get to know your colleagues outside work, too.

The patients are very varied: from original inhabitants from Ouderkerk to young families from Amsterdam. This makes for a nice patient group with whom it is easy to work together. The practice is all about professional and safe care. There is a lot of attention to development, so you can do what makes you happy.

• You have (almost) graduated as an MBO 4 doctor's assistant or nurse, or are following the BBL training programme to become a doctor's assistant.
• You keep a cool head in a busy environment, prioritise and maintain an overview.
• You actively seek cooperation and communicate clearly and pleasantly with colleagues.
• You pick up tasks independently and feel responsible for what you do.
• You are accessible to patients and know how to quickly create a familiar atmosphere.

At GP practice Aemstelwijck, you get the space to do what you like and are good at. And they like to reward that with:

• A gross salary of €2,805-4,061 based on a 38-hour working week (scale 4-5, Collective Labour Agreement for General Practitioners)
• A part-time position of 17 to 25.5 hours per week - days negotiable.
• A one-year contract, with the prospect of a permanent contract
• 25 leave days per year based on a 36-hour working week
• A year-end bonus of 8.33%, 8% holiday pay and a good pension with Pension Fund Care and Welfare
• Personal life-phase budget of 20 hours that you can use for informal care, a supplement to your holiday hours, taking a course or training, or working shorter hours in the run-up to retirement. Together with your employer, you make agreements about this.
