Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Eindhoven zoekt een vaatwasser voor de bedrijfsrestaurant. Je zorgt dat de afwas altijd schoon is, apparatuur correct werkt en je collega’s van de keuken en bediening kunnen rekenen op schone materialen.

Je werkt tussen 10:00 en 15:00 uur volgens voorkeuren, met een korte onboarding en buddy-systeem. Je bent fysiek fit, teamgericht en communicatief, met basisvaardigheden in Nederlands/Engels.

Qualifications

• Fysiek fit en actief gedurende de dienst.
• Go-getter met kalme houding tijdens de drukte.
• Teamspeler die goed communiceert met keukencollega’s.

Responsibilities

• Sorteren, voorwassen en efficiënt laden van gerechten in de industriële afwasmachine.
• Dagelijks onderhoud van de machine en schoonmaakwerk volgens HACCP.
• Koffieautomaten controleren, reinigen en bijvullen.
• Logistiek: terugplaatsen van schone vaat en keukenuitrusting op de juiste plek.
• Ondersteunen van het horecateam bij lichte voorbereidingen als de afwasdrukte afneemt.

What will you do

As a dishwasher in Thermo Fisher's corporate restaurant, you are the hero of the scullery. You ensure that everything runs smoothly, the tableware shines, and your catering colleagues are never without clean equipment.

Machine cleaning & Pre-rinsing: Sorting, pre-rinsing, and efficiently loading dishes into the industrial dishwasher. You also maintain and clean the machine daily.

Coffee machines: Checking, cleaning, and refilling the coffee machines throughout the building.

Logistics & Tidying: Immediately returning clean tableware, cutlery, and kitchen equipment to the correct places in the restaurant or kitchen.

Cleaning & Hygiene: Keeping the scullery, workbenches, and floors clean according to HACCP rules.

Waste management: Timely emptying and properly sorting waste (plastic/metal/drink cartons, general, organic).

Support: Lending a hand in the restaurant or with light kitchen prep work (such as chopping vegetables) when dish volume permits.
