Job description

Director Technical Product Management (m/f/d)

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Job Description

Posted Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 4:00 AM

ARIS is a Process Intelligence company that helps organizations discover, create, and transform their processes to deliver measurable business outcomes and scale AI with confidence.

It combines process design, real execution insight, and AI-driven optimization in a single, integrated platform-enabling organizations to build a governed digital twin of their operations, understand how work actually happens, and continuously deliver value across the enterprise.

By providing the process foundation, visibility, and governance required for AI adoption, ARIS enables businesses to deploy and scale Agentic AI safely and effectively, ensuring agents operate on trusted processes, data, and controls.

With over 30 years of expertise and recognition from leading analysts such as Gartner and Forrester, ARIS is trusted by global enterprises to turn process intelligence into real business impact.

We are currently seeking Director Technical Product Management to join ARIS in Netherlands. The position is remote-based with occasional traveling (mainly to Germany, Saarbrücken).

In this role, you will own the customer and product perspective on the foundation the rest of the ARIS platform runs on—deployment, connectivity, and infrastructure. Our agentic strategy depends on a platform that can run wherever a customer needs it to and respond in real time, and you will shape how we get there. You will define the product direction, priorities, and requirements, and partner closely with engineering to bring them to life—so enough technical depth to be credible with architects and engineers is essential.

You will work in a highly international environment, engaging directly with enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, CISOs, and IT buyers at some of the largest organizations in the world, and collaborating with distributed engineering and cross-functional teams. You will also represent the product externally—with customers, on stage, and to leadership—so a combination of technical, customer, and commercial credibility is essential.

Please note: this role requires existing work authorisation in the Netherlands. ARIS is unable to sponsor work visas for this role.

Essential Functions

  • Define product priorities across deployment models—on-premise, cloud, hybrid, sovereign, and customer-managed environments.
  • Prioritize infrastructure support across cloud and enterprise platforms such as Azure, AWS, and OCI.
  • Translate customer demand for integrations with platforms (Databricks, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Snowflake, etc) and event-streaming technologies into a clear connector and API roadmap.
  • Own the product implications of enterprise security and compliance: SSO/SAML, role-based access, audit logging, data residency, GDPR, SOX, DORA.
  • Shape a coherent onboarding, deployment, and time-to-value experience across the ARIS platform, spanning process mining, process modeling, task mining, and agentic capabilities.
  • Shape a coherent onboarding, deployment, and time-to-value experience across process mining, process modeling, task mining, and agentic capabilities.
  • Engage directly with enterprise IT buyers—infrastructure leads, enterprise architects, and CISOs—to translate them into product priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams to turn product direction into clear requirements and prioritized backlogs.
  • Represent the product with customers, at events, and to senior leadership.
  • Strong background in enterprise software infrastructure, platform engineering, or technical product roles; 5+ years in roles that required credible engagement with architects, DevOps, and enterprise IT teams, not just product delivery
  • Deep understanding of deployment models across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid deployment; hands-on with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, others).
  • Experience owning or partnering on connector ecosystems, API frameworks, or integration middleware at enterprise scale.
  • Fluent in enterprise data and connectivity: ERP extraction (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow), event streaming (Kafka, Azure Event Hub), and modern data pipelines.
  • Familiar with enterprise security and compliance as it applies to infrastructure: SSO/SAML, role-based access, audit logging, data residency, GDPR, SOX, DORA.
  • Credible with enterprise IT buyers (infrastructure leads, enterprise architects, CISOs); able to translate technical constraints into product implications and vice versa.
  • Experience in or alongside platform/ecosystem product roles: versioning, deprecation, backward compatibility, SLAs, and partner-facing interfaces.
  • Commercial product judgment: forms a strategic view of where the industry and customers are moving, not just gathering requirements.
  • Excellent communication in English, confident presenting to customers, at events, and to leadership.

Nice to Have

  • Process mining or BPM platform experience in the context of IT deployment and operations, including how live ERP data extraction works.
  • Managing co-engineering or technical partnerships with vendors such as Microsoft, SAP, Databricks, or Snowflake.
  • Exposure to agentic AI infrastructure: model serving, orchestration layers, and tool connectivity.
