Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Director Talent & Leadership to act as the growth engine for our AI-led people strategy across markets. You will report to the CHRO, shape talent priorities, elevate performance management, and build a culture where everyone thrives in a complex, international environment.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team of talent professionals, design scalable learning architectures, build succession pipelines, and partner with Talent Acquisition to set hiring

Qualifications

• Proven track record of strategic HR or talent leadership in a complex, international, or multi-country environment.
• Expert knowledge of talent management, performance frameworks, learning architecture, leadership development, and succession planning.
• Strong management skills with the ability to lead specialist teams, navigate trade-offs, and deliver quality results through ambiguity.
• Outstanding executive presence and human-relations capability, building trust and influencing senior stakeholders with discretion.
• Experience designing operating models and establishing new capabilities, such as integrating AI into talent and learning programs.
• Strategic problem-solving mindset committed to driving talent density, feedback culture, and execution excellence.

Responsibilities

• Shape and lead an enterprise AI-led talent and leadership strategy aligned with business priorities and execution accountability.
• Own the performance management system to drive clarity, continuous feedback, fair calibration, and improved talent density across JET.
• Lead and empower a multidisciplinary team of talent professionals, allocating capacity to high-impact enterprise needs.
• Build robust succession pipelines and facilitate strategic internal mobility to ensure business continuity and growth readiness.
• Design scalable learning architectures, technical upskilling, and development solutions that enhance capability faster than business complexity grows.
• Develop leadership capabilities across all levels—from first-time managers to C-suite executives—through coaching and targeted architecture.

About This Role

As Director Talent & Leadership within our global HR team, you will act as the growth engine for JET's future capabilities. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), you will lead, deliver, and care for our talent strategy across all markets. You will shape our Artificial Intelligence (AI)-led talent priorities, elevate performance management, and nurture a culture where everyone thrives.

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Shape and lead an enterprise AI-led talent and leadership strategy aligned with business priorities and execution accountability.
• Own the performance management system to drive clarity, continuous feedback, fair calibration, and improved talent density across JET.
• Lead and empower a multidisciplinary team of talent professionals, allocating capacity to high-impact enterprise needs.
• Build robust succession pipelines and facilitate strategic internal mobility to ensure business continuity and growth readiness.
• Design scalable learning architectures, technical upskilling, and development solutions that enhance capability faster than business complexity grows.
• Develop leadership capabilities across all levels—from first-time managers to C-suite executives—through coaching and targeted architecture.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations to establish hiring excellence standards and integrate forward-thinking AI methodologies.
