Job summary

FTI Consulting (Netherlands) B.V. seeks a Director to lead M&A advisory efforts in the Amsterdam area. You will back marketing pitches, oversee live transactions, and manage junior resources to deliver timely, high-quality work products.

The role requires 7–10 years of relevant experience, strong financial modeling, and international deal exposure. Dutch language proficiency is required and a focus on cross-border transactions is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&A with strong analytical capabilities and deal execution.
• Excellent written and oral communication and client facing skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Support Directors in marketing pitches and deal execution.
• Review financial models (DCF, LBO, etc.) and presentations.
• Originate and manage transactional work domestically and cross-border.
• Supervise junior team, align tasks with goals, and coach career development.
• Identify risk factors and deliver client-focused solutions.
