Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an experienced senior professional in financial due diligence within its Amsterdam TAG team. The role involves leading complex engagements and collaborating with private equity clients and corporates across Europe.

You will gain exposure to large transactions while developing commercial insights, with opportunities to mentor junior colleagues and network across A&M service lines.

Qualifications

• Proven senior-level experience in financial due diligence (Transaction Services).
• Exposure to private equity and/or blue-chip corporates.
• Training and experience in Transaction Advisory at a Big Four firm.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (business level).

• Lead and deliver complex financial due diligence engagements, working closely with Managing Directors.
• Gain broad industry exposure, working with large-cap and mid-cap private equity houses, corporate clients, and financial institutions.
• Provide commercial insights and valuation considerations that drive transactions.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial professionals to enhance your understanding of the broader due diligence process.
• Develop relationships with clients and build your external network.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to their professional growth.
• Internally network with other A&M service lines to deliver integrated solutions.

The Amsterdam TAG team specializes in delivering complex financial due diligence engagements for private equity firms, corporates, and financial institutions. The team operates as part of a pan‑European network, providing integrated and cross‑border solutions to clients. • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on delivering impactful results.
