Job summary

MUFG Bank (MUFG) in Amsterdam is seeking a Business Manager COO (Director) to join the COO Management Team. You will provide strategic support to the COO and leadership, drive governance, business management and performance oversight, and coordinate across the COO function in a highly regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
• Experience supporting executive committees and senior leadership teams.
• Strong governance, business management and performance reporting experience.
• Ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships across complex structures.

Responsibilities

• Support the COO in executing strategic priorities, objectives and leadership accountabilities.
• Partner with the COO to develop and monitor the strategic direction of the COO function.
• Drive development of the COO operating model and governance structures.
• Coordinate governance forums, management meetings and executive committees with clear action tracking.
• Lead initiatives to promote employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
• Oversee governance, workforce planning, budgeting and performance monitoring.
• Develop executive MI, dashboards, and briefing materials for senior stakeholders.
• Enhance management information frameworks, KPIs, and reporting capabilities.
• Monitor strategic initiatives, transformation programs and risks for escalation.
• Provide strategic analysis and recommendations for executive decision-making.
• Coordinate regulatory requests and remediation activities for the COO domain.
• Represent the COO at meetings and strategic initiatives as needed.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Risk, Compliance and other functions.
