Job summary

HomeZero is seeking a Digital Specialist internship to join our fast-growing energy-transition environment in Haarlem. You will work across the platform, guiding clients through implementations and collaborating with internal teams to tailor solutions to their needs.

You'll gain broad responsibilities from application management and testing to documentation and client communication, while building data reports and contributing to ongoing improvements in a scale-up setting.

Qualifications

• Work placement internship from study.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, (Commercial) Economics, Analysis, or another relevant field of study
• Strong creative skills and you love creating structure
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn
• Some knowledge of sustainability is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage application and implementation processes, testing and documentation

What does HomeZero do?

We are a climate tech scale-up with an innovative sustainability platform for businesses and installers. We help partners like ANWB, Consumentenbond, IsoleerBewust, and HeGG Energy with the sustainability of their customers and are their full-service digital partner.

We do this completely white-label to make their customers, employees, or citizens more sustainable. We work from a unique office in the old 'koepelgevangenis' prison in Haarlem with an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial team. HomeZero has existed since 2023 and is growing rapidly in the Netherlands and Europe.

What does a Digital Specialist do?

First, working in a scale-up is a fun combination of strategic input and actual execution. HomeZero is in a rapid growth phase and as a team, we are implementing many new partners. In the coming period, in addition to further developing the platform, we expect to welcome even more partners and also launch internationally.
As a digital specialist, you'll have frequent contact with clients and internal digital teams. You guide clients through implementing our solutions and maintain a clear overview. You configure the platform in collaboration with the client to their specifications and consider how to improve and simplify processes. You'll work closely with internal teams and discuss new client needs. Working in a scale-up means a broader role; no two days are the same. Within the team, we always consider everyone's strengths and, most importantly, enjoy the adventure. You'll have broad responsibilities, from application management, implementation management, testing, documentation, and client communication to data reports.
