Job summary

UbiOps is seeking a DevOps engineer to install, manage and improve the growing number of UbiOps installations across cloud, on‑prem, and partner environments. You will deploy the platform and ensure secure, reliable operation for critical workloads, collaborating with customers and internal teams.

You will contribute to automation of installation processes, interact with customers, and help advance infrastructure reliability and deployment workflows while learning our stack across Linux,

Qualifications

• Education in IT/Server/System Administration or equivalent working experience.

Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring the UbiOps platform in different environments, including secure or air-gapped infrastructure.
• Working with customers and internal teams to prepare deployments, clarify prerequisites, and coordinate timelines.
• Updating platform components to meet customer security or infrastructure requirements.
• Contributing to the UbiOps codebase to support integrations with customer infrastructure, such as databases or other services.
• Collaborating with the development team to continuously improve reliability, automation, and deployment workflows.
• This role suits engineers who enjoy combining infrastructure work, software development, and direct problem solving with customers.

Education

IT/Server/Systems Administration education or equivalent

3+ years in Cloud and/or on premises environments

English proficiency (Dutch a plus)

Independent installation, configuration and troubleshooting

Customer interaction and clear communication

Python and Bash scripting

Networking and load balancing

Infra as code (Ansible, Helm)
