UbiOps is looking for a Software Engineer to join our development team in The Hague. You’ll contribute to the core platform, delivering production-grade software that runs on any infrastructure, from on‑premise hardware to public clouds.

As part of a tight-knit, ambitious team, you’ll use Python, Go, Django, Kubernetes and Docker, with PostgreSQL and Redis, while embracing modern CI/CD, cloud concepts (GCP/AWS/Azure) and infrastructure-as-code. Fluency in English is required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Proficient in developing with AI support, but we expect you to be knowledgable on the fundamentals yourself.
• The ability to independently deliver clean, tested, and well-documented software.
• Curious, resourceful, and a quick learner. You enjoy experimenting and do not give up easily.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities

You will join the development team at UbiOps as a Software Engineer, actively contributing to the design, development, maintenance and support of our UbiOps platform. You will be working on the core of UbiOps together with a young and enthusiastic team of experienced developers, where you can make an impact immediately. On a daily basis we develop a platform that works on any type of hardware. You will get the opportunity to work with a broad range of technologies and platforms, such as Python, Go, Django, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, Public Clouds and more. The work you will do is therefore diverse and will provide you plenty of challenges and room for growth.

Your profile

• Completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Proficient in developing with AI support, but we expect you to be knowledgable on the fundamentals yourself.

Depending on your experience level, we expect you to have experience in or learn the following technologies quickly:

• Python (Go is a plus)
• Django, RESTful APIs, and microservice architecture
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and in-memory data stores (Redis)
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud computing services and concepts (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Hands‑on experience developing, testing, and supporting production‑grade software
• Infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Ansible, Helm, and Terraform is a plus

• Salary range for a full‑time position (1 FTE) based on your experience: €54,000 - €84,000 per year
