General information

• Start date: 1st of September 2025
• Duration: First contract is for 12 months with rolling extension.
• No. of working hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Location: 2 day(s) per week in office in Utrecht
• Contract type: Payroll

What is the project about?

The department is responsible for delivering a stable and secure database platform the consumers can use. The department consists of 6 squads with each their own focus area.

You will be responsible for leading the department in the automation strategy and build the building block to do so for the Oracle platform. You engineer a compliant solution and take care of embedding the solution into the Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Python and other relevant technologies.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Development and operation of the automation infrastructure
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices for software development and
• deployment.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and application
• performance.
• Maintain and improve existing infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Mentor and guide other teams in their automation journey.

What You Bring

• Profound Ansible knowledge and experience in creating Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories.
• Profound experience using Ansible Tower/Ansible Automation Platform.
• Preferably profound knowledge with object-oriented development using Python and Pytest
• framework
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure Pipelines).
• Understanding of networking, security and RedHat/Oracle Linux 8/9 systems.
• Familiar with development practices and tools (e.g. VSCode, Git)
• Knowledge how to integrate testing in our way of work
• Understanding of Security/SSL Certificate management.
• Documentation and knowledge sharing
• Requirement analysis and detailed design experience
• Preferably (Oracle) Database experience.
