Job summary

RemoteJobsOne is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a fully remote contractor role open to candidates based in the Netherlands. Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines. You will work on training data pipelines, IaC, monitoring, and incident response with strong emphasis on code quality and clear documentation.

20+ hours per week, remote work. Required English, 3+ years of experience, and experience with AWS/GCP/Azure, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes;

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform, or Infra engineering.
• Strong coding ability in Python, Go, Bash, or TypeScript with real code.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and containers.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• IaC experience with Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
• Advanced Linux and Git proficiency.
• Professional English, written and spoken.
• Availability of at least 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic DevOps tasks based on production-style scenarios (CI/CD, containers, orchestration, IaC, monitoring, incident response).
• Write working reference solutions with clear setup and validation steps.
• Review AI-generated output, identify failures, and write precise corrections with reasoning.
• Maintain a strict quality bar on correctness and reproducibility.
• Share structured feedback that improves future task design.
