Job summary

Vanderlande invites a Graduation student to join the Sustainability team in Veghel to design and validate a calculation methodology for quantifying circular revenue. You will explore international frameworks, define assessment criteria, and build a scoring model to classify revenue categories.

This 6-month project focuses on creating a solid data foundation, mapping data streams, and delivering an implementation roadmap with governance and reporting guidelines for sustainable progress.

  • Research international circular economy standards and frameworks (such as CTI and GCP).
  • Develop clear assessment criteria and a scoring model to classify Vanderlande's revenue categories.
  • Create, test, and validate a reliable calculation methodology for circular revenue at company level.
  • Identify data requirements and map out the necessary operational and financial data streams.
  • Deliver a comprehensive implementation roadmap including governance, reporting guidelines, and strategic recommendations.

Description of assignment

At Vanderlande, we are dedicated to embedding sustainability into our core strategy, customer propositions, and global service offerings. To track our progress and accelerate our sustainable transition, we need clear visibility into how much of our revenue is truly circular. Currently, an objective, standardized methodology to evaluate revenue streams against circular economy criteria and translate them into a key performance indicator (KPI) is missing.


In this impactful graduation project, you will take on the challenge of designing and validating a calculation methodology to quantify circular revenue at Vanderlande. By exploring international frameworks, defining assessment criteria, and building a scoring model, you will help establish a solid data foundation. Your findings will directly shape how Vanderlande measures, governs, and reports its sustainable progress moving forward.




Department description

You will join the global Sustainability team, responsible for shaping and driving Vanderlande's overarching sustainability program.


Because circularity touches every aspect of our operations, you will work closely with colleagues across various disciplines, including R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Data Analytics.

What we offer

  • A monthly internship allowance (based on a 40-hour work week):
    Bachelor: €500 per month
    Master: €550 per month
