Rabobank Gruppe in Utrecht is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build and operate the backend platform that connects AI services, enterprise systems, CRM platforms, and business processes in a secure, scalable way.

You will work with C# and .NET, Azure, API design, and CI/CD, contributing to architecture and operational excellence in a hybrid setup with 1–2 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience designing, building, and operating production-grade APIs and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native development.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, or similar).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, integration patterns, and system design.
• Security-focused development practices.
