Job summary

Prysmian Group in Emmen seeks a Detail Planner to manage detailed production schedules and release orders, coordinating with Capacity Planner to optimize availability of finished products. You will plan, coordinate and monitor activities to ensure timely delivery while optimizing capacity and resources.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in a similar position, strong ERP/SAP experience, and the ability to work independently with a proactive, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Able to work independently and take ownership.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Persuasive, resilient under pressure, and enthusiastic.
• Results-driven, proactive, ambitious and decisive.
• Proven experience in process optimization.
• Ability to think end-to-end while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Short-term planning and coordination: create detailed production schedules considering capacity, materials and workforce.
• Management of released production orders: ensure accurate due dates and monitor progress to correct deviations.
• Optimization: identify and implement improvements to reduce lead times and increase customer satisfaction.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Production, Sales and other departments.
• Reporting: prepare production performance reports and present to management and Capacity Planner.
• Coordinate between Sales, Production and Raw Materials Planning.
• Support product introductions and phase-outs for smooth transitions.
