Job summary

Takeda in the Netherlands is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Dermatology to act as a trusted scientific partner for healthcare professionals across the country. This field-based role involves about 80% external engagement and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

You will build relationships, translate complex data into actionable insights, support evidence generation, and contribute to launch readiness while adhering to regulations and data privacy.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences or related field.
• Experience in Medical Affairs or MSL roles is required.
• Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies.
• Proven ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Cross-functional and matrix team collaboration experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and external scientific stakeholders.
• Lead scientific discussions and communicate complex clinical data clearly and impactfully.
• Deliver non-promotional medical education through meetings, advisory boards, congresses, and other activities.
• Gather and share insights on clinical practice, unmet needs, treatment trends, and patient journeys to inform strategy.
• Identify evidence gaps and support evidence-generation activities with investigators and studies.
• Act as scientific partner to cross-functional teams in medical plans and launch readiness.
• Leverage digital tools, CRM analytics, and AI-enabled engagement approaches to optimize stakeholder interaction.
• Support internal capability building through scientific training and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure activities comply with regulations, pharmacovigilance, data privacy, and Takeda policies.

Education

MSc in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related (MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred)
