Job summary

The Change Network B.V. is seeking a motivated dental assistant for our Alkmaar practice. The role offers in-house training and welcomes applicants with no experience, helping you grow in the dentistry field.

You will assist the dentist, prepare instruments, sterilize equipment, and handle patient reception and scheduling in a friendly team environment. This 3–4 day per week position supports your development and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• We are looking for a dental assistant with a positive and proactive work attitude.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Eagerness to learn and willingness to acquire new skills.
• Able to stay calm and efficient in busy environments.
• Good command of Dutch; English or other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist with treatments and procedures.
• Prepare instruments and materials for use.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
• Handle administrative tasks, including patient records and scheduling.
• Welcoming and guiding patients, and putting them at ease.
• Support the team with daily activities.
