Job summary

Impress, the leading digital orthodontic clinic network, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our sleek Amsterdam clinics. You will support doctors, manage patient flow, and handle 3D intraoral scanning, X-rays, and sterilization to ensure flawless service.

Fluent English is required; Dutch skills are a plus. You will work in a dynamic, international team, participate in training, and contribute to a stress-free patient journey with modern digital records.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a dental setting assisting dental professionals.
• Experience with EMRs, X-ray systems, intraoral scanners, and digital file management.
• Valid work permit for the country of operation.
• Typing at least 40 words per minute and strong written communication.
• Able to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks.
• Flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.
• English fluency is required; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D scans and X-rays, maintain oral hygiene, sterilize instruments, and coordinate material prep.
• Lead patient reception, explain treatment procedures, and ensure accuracy of clinical data in digital systems.
• Support front desk tasks and daily clinic operations to keep a seamless flow between doctor and patient.
• Deliver high-quality results by staying motivated, proactive, and collaborative.

How you'll have impact

• Clinical Excellence:Perform 3D scans, X-rays, oral hygiene, sterilization of instruments, and coordinate material preparation.

Requirements

• Professional Experience:Prior experience in a dental setting assisting dental professionals.

• Technical Proficiency:Experience working with EMRs, X-rays, intra-oral scanners, and digital file management.

• Work Authorization:Valid work permit for the country of operation and full compliance with all dental healthcare laws.

• Hard Skills:Proficient typing (40 words per minute) and strong written communication.

• Physical Demands:Ability to stand for 8 hours, coordinate movement of small instruments, and lift up to 45 lbs.

• Mobility & Availability:Ability to travel between clinic locations and work a flexible schedule (including nights, holidays, and weekends) based on business needs.

• Communication:We require fluency in English to communicate internally with the team. Fluency in Dutch language is a plus.
