Job description

Are you passionate about accurate forecasting, efficient inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration? We’re looking for a proactive Demand & Inventory Planner to join our team in Utrecht, Netherlands. In this role, you’ll play a key part in developing forecasts, supporting product availability, and leading the demand planning process for our OEM (Private Label) business across Germany and Eastern Europe.

The role will report to the Senior Manager, Demand Planning & Customer Supply Chain.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting & S&OP

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance demand forecasts for Germany and Easter Europe OEM markets, using tools like FuturMaster.
  • Coordinate with Sales to ensure forecasts reflect commercial strategy, product launches, and market trends.
  • Lead the Demand Review process and contribute to the preparation of monthly S&OP meetings.
  • Collaborate with global demand management to align local and central forecasting practices.

Inventory & Product Availability Management

  • Manage inventory to prevent stockouts and overstock across all finished goods and packaging materials.
  • Lead the monthly non-compliant stock review and propose corrective actions.
  • Track shipments and resolve supply issues by working closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
  • Support decisions around material ordering and replenishment aligned with master plans.

About You:

  • 2–4 years’ experience in demand planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations, ideally in FMCG or food manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Proficiency in SAP and demand planning tools (FuturMaster preferred).
  • Fluent in German and English; other EU languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to travel on regular basis.
