Job summary

JD Logistics (JINGDONG Logistics) is seeking an Operations Supervisor for our large-item distribution center in the Netherlands. You will oversee receipt, dispatch, sorting, loading/unloading, outbound processing and handover of goods to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

You will manage staff scheduling, task allocation, monitor efficiency and quality, coordinate with drivers and carriers, handle exceptions, maintain site safety and 5S, and drive KPI improvements to support the station

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operational management of the large-item distribution center, overseeing the receipt, dispatch, sorting, loading/unloading, outbound processing, and handover of goods.
• Manage staff scheduling, task allocation, and on-site operations; monitor employee work efficiency and operational quality.
• Coordinate with delivery drivers and carriers, track delivery progress, and ensure that delivery tasks are completed on time.
• Handle exceptions—such as damaged goods, delivery delays, or customer complaints—to maintain high-quality delivery service.
• Oversee site safety, equipment usage, and 5S management to ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Monitor operational KPIs, optimize workflows, enhance labor productivity and delivery efficiency, and assist the station manager with day-to-day operational management.
