Job summary

Stafide in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (Oracle & Azure) to manage enterprise databases, ensure availability, security and performance across environments.

You will administer Oracle 19c and above, Azure SQL Database, and Azure PostgreSQL, perform tuning, handle incidents, changes, HA/DR, and automate with PowerShell. Requires 8–10 years, Microsoft Database Administration certification.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of overall experience in Database Administration.
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration, particularly Oracle 19c and above.
• Proficiency in T-SQL scripting for database queries and management.
• Strong knowledge of Azure SQL Database and Azure PostgreSQL.
• Experience in database incident management, service requests, and change management.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Experience with database security controls, auditing, and access management.
• Understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) setups.
• Proficiency in Windows PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of VMware and cloud security management.
• Microsoft certification in Database Administration is required.
