Job summary

Bluebird is seeking a Data Product Engineer to design and build data products powering analytics, benchmarking, and AI features. The role focuses on large-scale SQL processing with ClickHouse/DuckDB/Pinot and building production-grade .NET cloud-native software on Azure.

You will lead technically, coach other engineers, and drive engineering excellence through reviews and mentoring in a hybrid Amsterdam-based role.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in .NET and modern distributed software architecture.
• Deep knowledge of SQL and relational database systems, including performance and scalability work.
• Hands-on experience with analytical database technologies such as ClickHouse, DuckDB, Pinot, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Experience building cloud-native solutions, preferably on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the data products that power analytics, benchmarking, and AI-driven functionality across the platform.
• Optimize large-scale SQL-based data processing using technologies such as ClickHouse, DuckDB, or Apache Pinot.
• Develop production-grade software using modern .NET and cloud-native practices on Microsoft Azure.
• Act as a technical leader, coaching engineers and driving engineering excellence through code reviews and mentoring.
