Job summary

Alpha Financial Markets Consulting is seeking a Data Practice SME to join our Amsterdam-based team. You will lead analytics engagements for Asset & Wealth clients, focusing on data integrity, availability and visibility across sources, and proposing AI-enabled solutions.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in consulting, fluent Dutch and English, strong communication and stakeholder management, and willingness to travel across Europe.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years proven experience in consulting or projects, gained within a leading financial institution or consulting firm.
• Understanding of market trends, drivers and outlook of the Asset and Wealth Management market.
• First-class communication, presentation and problem-solving skills with an excellent command of Microsoft Office.
• Proven track record in client relationship development, including client account support/management.
• Stakeholder management and influencing skills with clients, colleagues and junior team members.
• Focus on team achievement, not just individual goals.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required; other languages (French, German) preferred.
• Willingness to travel.
• 25 days annual leave plus public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Based in Amsterdam (with potential travels within Europe), carry out consulting engagements or manage projects for Alpha clients.
• Become the Data Practice SME, ensuring delivery of projects related to data integrity, availability and visibility across sources.
• Propose analytical solutions and AI-enabled processes to design and implement new TOMs.
• Participate in projects related to data vendors and evaluation of potential new ones.
