Job summary

PGGM is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage a scalable Snowflake-based data platform. You will work in a DevOps-driven team to ensure secure, robust infrastructure, leveraging IaC, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

The role supports data mesh principles and requires collaboration with data engineers, DevOps, and security experts. You will contribute to the ongoing evolution of the data platform, ensure compliance, and help translate stakeholder needs into concrete infra

Qualifications

• Higher professional education or university level, through education or experience.
• 4 – 10 years of experience in a similar role/function.
• Strong communication skills (at least C1 level in Dutch and English).
• Experience in drafting implementation plans and translating requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design & implementation: build and maintain a robust cloud infrastructure.
• Optimization & scalability: ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure and reliable.
• Automation: implement and manage IaC solutions and automated deployment pipelines.
• Monitoring & management: manage, monitor and test the infrastructure for stable operations.
• Advice & innovation: research and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency, security and speed.
• Collaboration: work with Data Engineers, DevOps, Cloud Engineers and security experts to improve the platform.
