Funda Real Estate B.V. is looking for a Data Engineer to turn complex data into reliable, structured models. You’ll work on a Kimball-based data warehouse, expanding models, improving monitoring and building new data products.

You’ll join the Core Data Team and own data pipelines, collaborate with analysts, and contribute to data-driven product decisions behind Waardecheck and Vraagscan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of data engineering experience and a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Excellent SQL skills; hands-on with DBT, BigQuery, GCP and Python.
• Strong knowledge of Kimball dimensional modelling.
• Experience with Git, Docker, data governance and GDPR principles.
• Fluent in Dutch and comfortable communicating in English.
• Based in the Netherlands and eligible to work in NL.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain DBT models in BigQuery using Kimball star schemas.
• Develop DBT macros, tests and monitoring to improve data quality and reliability.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Python, Airbyte and Azure.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and manage orchestration with Cloud Run.
• Collaborate with data analysts/scientists to unlock insights and ML pipelines.
