As a Data & Strategy Consultant at adesso, you play a crucial role in helping our clients exploit the full potential of their data. This position demands a professional who not only understands the intricacies of data management but also excels in project management and business development. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between technical data solutions and business objectives, enabling our clients to make well-informed, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Consultancy & Customer Involvement:

• Function as a trusted advisor for clients, understanding their business needs and offering customized data management and strategic solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, present findings, and recommend action-oriented strategies.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Project Management:

• Lead and manage data management projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to achieve project goals.
• Coordinate with multifunctional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and other consultants, to deliver comprehensive data solutions.

Expertise in Data Management:

• Provide insights and guidance on data governance, data strategy, and data architecture to ensure best practices are followed.
• Conduct assessments of existing data management processes and recommend improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to continuously improve services.

Sales & Business Development:

• Identify potential use cases and generate leads through strategic networking.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to acquire new clients.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives.

Flexibility & Adaptability:

• Adapt to diverse project requirements and customer environments, with flexibility in approach and execution.
• Embrace a continuous learning mindset to effectively address evolving business challenges.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a data environment in a role such as data analyst, consultant with a focus on data management, or similar.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience at a top consultancy firm in the Netherlands in roles such as Consultant, Project Manager, or similar.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects.
• Sales skills with the ability to stimulate business growth.
• In-depth understanding of data management concepts, including data governance and data strategy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• High degree of flexibility and adaptability.
