Adaptfy, in collaboration with Metyis, seeks a senior data governance professional to lead early governance initiatives and drive practical, scalable data practices across SHV Groups. You will secure executive sponsorship, engage diverse stakeholders, and shape reusable governance templates for cross‑group use.

The role emphasizes building from scratch, turning ambiguity into structured plans, and delivering measurable business value through disciplined data ownership and governance programs.

Qualifications

• Experience initiating a data or governance effort from scratch, including securing sponsorship and stakeholder buy-in.
• Ability to engage senior business stakeholders directly, building relationships autonomously.
• Ability to structure a broad mandate into a clear first starting point.
• Strong communication skills, translating data concepts into business value for technical and business audiences.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, analytics, or related field, aiming for governance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Help one SHV Group turn data governance from concept into daily practice, prioritizing the highest value domain.
• Identify priority stakeholders, pain points, and governance gaps with business and IT.
• Define ownership, data owners, stewards, custodians, and decision forums, securing commitment.
• Facilitate workshops to align business and technical stakeholders on ownership and decisions.
• Turn effective approaches into reusable templates, playbooks, and accelerators for other SHV Groups.
• Leverage Adaptfy/SHV specialists to execute detailed technical work.
