Job summary

Levy NL supports a Dutch government organisation in Utrecht to hire a Data Governance Lead. The six-month assignment targets a robust governance roadmap, policy-to-process translation, and active data ownership across domains.

You will drive data quality, metadata management and the data catalog to ensure compliant, reliable data assets. Hybrid work, 36 hours per week, payroll or freelance options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with data governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.
• 5+ years with data quality, metadata management, data catalogues and governance tooling.
• Knowledge of GDPR (AVG).
• Experience in central government or a comparable public organisation.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Draw up the data governance roadmap.
• Turn policy into workable processes, roles and standards.
• Help business domains take up data ownership and stewardship.
• Drive data quality, metadata management and the data catalogue.
