Job summary

NextWave-Infinium is seeking a Data Engineer to build scalable data architectures using the Microsoft stack and open‑source technologies. You will develop data pipelines, APIs, and models to support advanced analytics and regulatory reporting, and design dashboards with Power BI.

You’ll work with Scala, Spark, Hadoop, and Elasticsearch to process large data volumes, implement CI/CD in a cloud‑native environment, and collaborate in Agile teams with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Solution

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of data engineering, data integration, or analytics experience.
  • Experience with big data frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, Elastic Stack.
  • Strong programming skills in Scala, Python, or Java.
  • Familiarity with Azure, Data Lake, Fabric, or Power BI; Agile delivery experience.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and work with Quantexa.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable data architectures and back-end systems using Azure, Fabric, Synapse, and Data Lake.
  • Develop data pipelines, APIs, and models to support analytics and regulatory reporting.
  • Design and deploy dashboards and analytics using Power BI.
  • Work with Scala, Spark, Hadoop, and Elasticsearch to manage and transform large data volumes.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines in a cloud-native environment.
  • Collaborate in Agile project teams with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Solution Architects.
  • Gain hands-on training with Quantexa, including entity resolution, graph analytics, and network modeling.

What You’ll Do

As aData Engineer, you'll be responsible for building robust, scalable solutions using the Microsoft stack and open-source technologies. You’ll also have the opportunity tocross-train into Quantexa, one of the world’s leading platforms for contextual decision intelligence.

You will:

  • Build and maintain scalable data architectures and back-end systemsusingAzure, Fabric, Synapse, and Data Lake
  • Develop data pipelines, APIs, and models to support advanced analytics and regulatory reporting
  • Design and deploy dashboards and analytics using Power BI
  • Work with Scala,Spark,Hadoop, andElasticsearchto manage and transform large data volumes
  • Implement and maintain CI/CDpipelines in a cloud-native environment
  • Collaborate in Agile project teams with Data Scientists,Analysts, andSolution Architects
  • Get hands-on training and project experience with Quantexa, including entity resolution, graph analytics, and network modeling
Requirements

Must-have:

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or analytics
  • Solid experience with big data frameworks(e.g. Spark, Hadoop, Elastic Stack)
  • Strong programming skills in Scala,Python, orJava
  • Familiarity with Azure,Data Lake,Fabric, orPower BIExperience in Agile delivery environments
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skill
  • Willingness to learn and work with the Quantexa platform
Nice-to-have:
  • Background in financial crime, ESG, or financial services
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Microsoft DevOps, or cloud-native deployment
  • Consulting or client-facing experience
Education & Background
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience delivering data-focused projects, preferably in a consultancy, financial institution, or regulated environment
