What will you do?

As a Data Engineer at Leadinfo, you’ll hold a responsible position where you ensure the data quality of millions of companies and manage a database of terabytes of data, which grows daily by several percent. Our goal is to offer the best data, and we always give our all to achieve this. Therefore, we continuously challenge the technology and iterate on all features to deliver maximum results and nothing less than a "wow" effect.

Key responsibilities

• Setting up and maintaining a data dictionary: You will analyze the impact of different sources on data quality.
• Improving data quality with colleagues from other countries: At Leadinfo, we are growing fast and aim to conquer the world with our product. For this, it’s essential that we have the best data quality in the countries where our product is sold. Our ambition for the coming years is to become market leaders in the UK, Scandinavia, and Italy. We need someone who proactively improves quality in these regions.
• Providing support for customer findings: We want to be market leaders in recognition and data quality. Sometimes data may become outdated, and in such cases, we want to assist our customers as effectively as possible to fulfill our promises.
• Maintenance of web scraping tools: As a Data Engineer at Leadinfo.com, you will occasionally maintain web scraping tools developed by our Python developer, which are used to collect and analyze data from various websites. This includes writing code to extract and process data from different sources and integrating it into the platform.
• Research and development of new technologies: You will continuously research and implement new technologies and frameworks to improve platform performance and further optimize the user experience.

Who are you?

To start as a Data Engineer at Leadinfo.com, you need at least 1 year of experience (can be part-time next to studying) as a Data Engineer or Python developer. We hope you bring the following skills:

• Hands-on expertise in building and maintaining ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Python & SQL skills, preferably Spark or PySpark as well.
• Data storage and processing, like AWS Athena and AWS Glue for storing and processing data.
• Web scraping frameworks such as Scrapy and BeautifulSoup for extracting and processing data from different websites. Experience with them is not necessarily required.
• The Leadinfo winner's mentality, with passion and enthusiasm for improving every day.
