Job summary

AME, based in Brainport Eindhoven, develops and manufactures high-quality electronic products for energy and industrial sectors. The Supply Chain Excellence Lead will own the improvement roadmap, linking planning, purchasing, logistics and operations to boost material availability and delivery reliability.

With 5+ years in supply chain or improvement, you will guide cross-functional projects, use KPIs to drive decisions, and push digitalization and ERP enhancements for lasting impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or improvement with a track record of leading cross-functional change.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes in manufacturing, connecting purchasing, planning, inventory and production.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data and process challenges into practical, measurable improvements.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and solid ERP/master data knowledge supporting supply chain performance.
• Experience applying Lean, root-cause analysis and structured improvement methods.
• Ability to translate business needs into process and system requirements and identify opportunities for digitalization, automation and AI.
• Drive to own initiatives from idea to implementation and adoption.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the supply chain improvement roadmap and deliver measurable results.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks across purchasing, planning, inventory, production and delivery.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve material availability, delivery reliability and inventory performance.
• Use data and KPIs to guide decisions, track progress and sustain improvements.
• Optimize planning policies, safety stocks and replenishment parameters balancing demand, lead times and risks.
• Drive improvements in ERP, master data and reporting, translating business needs into IT solutions.
• Turn opportunities in digitalization, automation and AI into practical business value.
• Challenge practices, build stakeholder commitment and embed process ownership and continuous improvement.
