As a Data Engineer at Devleaps you will design scalable data pipelines, develop data models, and collaborate with platform engineers and infrastructure specialists to deliver end-to-end data solutions for diverse clients.

Formación

• Role requires 4–6 years of data engineering experience.
• Proficiency with data lakehouse architecture.
• Hands-on experience with dbt, SQL and Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure or AWS).
• Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

The Role

As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building modern data platforms and analytics foundations for our clients. You will work alongside data platform engineers, analytics engineers, and infrastructure specialists to create scalable data pipelines, reliable data models, and high-quality data products.

You won't be handed in a ticket queue. You'll help shape architecture, advise clients on platform strategy, and translate ambiguous business needs into clear technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platform components.

Job requirements

Required Skills and Experience

Proven experience in Data Engineering, Data Modeling or Data Platform Engineering (typically 4–6 years).

Good understanding of Data Lakehouse architecture.

Hands‑on experience with dbt, SQL, and Python.

Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.

Comfortable working in a client‑facing or consulting environment, building trust and communicating clearly with non‑technical stakeholders.

Strong problem‑solving skills and an engineering mindset.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Spark / PySpark.

Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK).

Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle.

Soft Skills

Strong communication skills; you can hold your own in a room with both engineers and business stakeholders.

Proactive ownership mindset: you spot problems early and drive them to resolution.
