Job summary

Google in the Netherlands is looking for a Facilities Technician to maintain and operate its data center systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, cooling, and electrical systems as part of a high-level team.

Ideal candidates should have an associate's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years in a critical operations environment. Proficiency in Dutch is required for day-to-day operations, along with a driving license.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in developing and maintaining control systems.
• Experience in critical systems environment and planning with manufacturers' equipment.
• Driving license Category B.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair data center systems.
• Operate and monitor facilities systems and equipment.
• Manage control, monitoring, logging, and alarming systems.

Skills

Ability to work non-standard hours

Experience in critical operations environment

Ability to communicate in Dutch

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in scripting languages

Education

Associate's degree or equivalent experience
